The Alliance has put together a series of 5 planning worksheets to help you prepare for a disaster:

Section 2: Compile important information and complete a disaster and emergency preparedness self assessment.
Section 3: Meet with your network, plan to complete preparedness tasks, and further asses you emergency preparedness.
Section 4: Get informed about community plans in place for emergency and disaster preparedness
Section 5: Create an emergency preparedness kit that would sustain you and your household for one week in case of an emergency or disaster. Here is a sample kit building calendar to help you put together a kit in small steps over a five month period. Additional information on building a kit may be found at www.3days3ways.org
